Multiple Cards

This is a quick card game

You need a pack of playing cards

First, remove the jacks, queens, kings and jokers.

Next, shuffle the remaining cards and deal them out face-down to all the players.

Then, each player turns over the top two cards of their own pile.

They now multiply the two numbers together. The player with the higher multiple wins all of the face-up cards.

Which player wins here?
7 x 4 or 10 x 5?

When all of the face-down cards have been used up the players count how many cards they have ‘won’.

The one with the highest total is the overall winner.

PARENTS

You can play this game multiple times. Change the rules if you wish - for example, you could:

  • Put the jokers in the pack and use them as ‘zero’.
  • Put the jacks and queens back in and use them as 11 and 12
  • Turn over three cards instead of two - this would make the multiplication problem something like 4 x 2 x 8...
