For teachers
Maths homework that children actually want to do, with nothing to set up and nothing to mark.
Why maths.life?
Homework, and maths homework in particular, can be a burden for teachers, parents and children. It is hard to organise and monitor, and easily misunderstood. Too often it becomes an invasive chore rather than a way to build good learning habits.
Maths.life takes a different approach. Each activity is a short game, puzzle or investigation that families can do together, using things they already have at home: paper, a pencil, a pack of cards, some dice, a few coins.
What you get
- Nothing to set up. There are no accounts, invite codes or passwords. Share a link and you're done.
- Matched to the curriculum. Every activity is written for a specific year group and topic.
- Real maths talk. Each activity ends with a prompt to share what children found out, so they come back to class with something to say.
- No homework books, no forgotten bits of paper, no marking.
- Print-friendly. Every activity page has a print button that gives a clean one-page version.
- Free, always.
Using it in school
- Browse by year group or topic and pick an activity.
- Share the link with families (newsletter, class page or message), or print the page.
- Ask children to tell the class what they discovered. A drawing, a photo or a few sentences is plenty.
